Annex : Sakhe

Sounds good. The infantry run at the beginning did feel a bit too long. I might cut down the size of the capture areas slightly also.

I tend to think that while Takistan looks brilliant, Chernarus has more roads/towns to build ANNEX missions in.

Re-did the placements, should be more even and shorter ranges.

Not sure about the middle-sized one for SCUD Site - Sar-e Sang Pass though.

Good job, you've definitely grasped the objective system & template. I jumped on and started it up this morning and found I had a pretty long run to the first objective so maybe your infantry spawn distances could be shorter (on Stage1 at least). Other than that the biggest issue I see is the two acute dog legs in the run of Stage1 objectives because;

:new: Setting off to attack one's next objective generally isn't going to take you through the one you're defending leading to a high'ish probablity of missing the enemy rather than playing tug-o-war with a moving front.

:new: If one does pass through the defensive objective the distance between each is about the same as for stage 2 rather than closer together (the point of the stages being to right-size the battlefield for the number of players).

Given the playtesting we did before OA I really think Stage3 is only likely to come into play with a LOT of connected players (64+). Still good to build it in now where possible as I'd definitely hope we might eventually attract that many (and more if the server can handle it).

Believe me, it can be very hard to find a location that works, Lhowon and I have been pouring over Takistan for weeks now and while it's abundant in excellent terrain for combat finding objectives that make sense and support this 5-5-5 thing has proven extremely hard.

(Just advice, happy to playtest it whenever we have enough.)

After not finding anything I felt too confident about (going to remake RASMAN from scratch) we finally hit upon something this weekend; AnnexFERUZABAD

New kit in the TS channel now with the same template converted to Zargabad also.

No hurry at all but at some point I need to fix a small issue in your mission.sqm's if you could PM them to me sometime. You can instead fix it yourselves in notepad by replacing all 3 instances of "TK_Soldier_B_EP1" with "TK_Special_Forces_EP1".
